X-Men Origin’s star Hugh Jackman will return to the Oscar stage this year not to sing and host the show but as presenter on the 83rd Academy Awards next month.

The Associated Press said that the Oscar’s producers confirmed Jackman’s returns on stage as presenter. Jackman is joining other presenters announced earlier this week including Sandra Bullock, Jeff Bridges, Oprah Winfrey, Halle Berry and Marisa Tomei.

Jackman received high praises for his talent and wit as he graced the highly coveted award giving body in Hollywood. He was seen singing and dancing in a number of production numbers in 2009.

This year’s awards night will be held at the Kodak Theatre on February 27 and will be hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathaway.
