Thank heavens The Hulk didn't get angry this time.

Actor Mark Ruffalo's Twitter account was hacked this weekend. According to reports, he discovered that his account was tapped into last Sunday, when his profile name was changed from @MRuff221 to @Mark_Ruffalo.

The culprit proceeded to post a series of strange tweets, such as "The women of Hollywood sure have some great boobs. Here are the top 15!"

Ruffalo currently has 161, 527 followers on Twitter. He's an active user of the application, posting over 5,000 tweets.

True to his calmer Bruce Banner persona, the 44-year-old Ruffalo was unfazed by the incident and even jokingly referred to it.

"It's kind of hilarious me getting hacked today," he tweeted with his new account. "I got to hand it to the hacker. Kind of genius," he added. A fan helped Ruffalo take over his old account.

He later tweeted: "Okay, I'm back up. The existential battle raged on my keyboard between me and my silly hacker and it seems I lost @MRuff221." He added, "Guess what I am one and the same! I am both identities. @MRuff221 and @Mark_Ruffalo. So everyone wins."

"They have lumped both accounts together. It's one account both names. It has a poetic justice to it I suppose," he added.

Mark Ruffalo is notable for playing the superhero-with-anger-management-problems, Dr. Bruce Banner, also known as The Incredible Hulk. Ruffalo and his hulking role recently made their strong presence known in the blockbuster hit The Avengers, the summer movie that smashed box office records two weeks ago.

The movie debuted with a record-shattering $200 million, and proceeded to earn more than $600 million in total revenue worldwide.

Ruffalo was also seen in movies such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Kids Are All Right, Shutter Island, and Rumor Has It.
