Original "The Hulk" actor Lou Ferrigano claimed a new Hulk solo film and TV series are in the process of following the character's successful performance in "The Avengers."

Lou Ferrigano sat down for an interview with Film Fad at the Wizard World Comic Con. At first the actor was asked about the possibility of Hulk hitting the TV screens again. Likewise, Lou was asked for his choice of actor best fitted to play the title character. That's when he reportedly revealed that a new Hulk TV series is coming.

"Well to tell you the truth they plan to do a TV series someday," he said.

But the actor claimed producers may stick to CGI for the character instead of having a real live actor to portray the role.

"I don't think you'll ever see a human Hulk again. Because with the technology people would rather see something that is a little more animated like CGI," he added.

Lou Ferrigano further claimed the series "can happen" once Marvel completes its production of "The Avengers" movies or the "Hulk" film.

The actor was also pressed for more details like who will pen the story arc on his supposed claim of a new Hulk TV series. Lou Ferrigano stated production is most likely a "long way" down the road. It could wait since he thinks a new "Hulk" solo movie will be prioritised. Lou Ferrigano said that in another year, Marvel is going to produce another standalone film for the angry green giant.

In line with Lou Ferrigano's statements, actor Mark Ruffalo also previously hinted the possibility of a new Hulk solo movie.

Speaking to Digital Spy, he said that it's under consideration. For the first time, Marvel is reportedly "entertaining the idea of it."

However, no further details were revealed as to the movie's plotlines. As Mark Ruffalo said, "there's still nothing definitive to it, not even a skeletal version of what it would be." Regardless, the actor also expressed his interest in reprising his role for the rumoured "Hulk" standalone movie.

But at this point, a new Hulk film and TV series are still all speculations until Marvel Studios confirms it through an official statement.
