Humans struggle against alien invasion in new Steven Spielberg project (TRAILER)
Steven Spielberg's latest project Falling Skies, a sci-fi television series, has released a new trailer. It begins with the alien invasion as told from the perspective of children.
The clip shows a group of civilians and soldiers as they struggle against the occupying alien force. Falling Skies stars Noah Wyle, best known as Dr. John Carter in ER, and Moon Bloodgood who was in Terminator Salvation with Christian Bale and Sam Worthington.
In the new series, Wyle plays Tom, a college professor who becomes the leader of the group while Bloodgood is Anne Glass, a therapist working with the surviving children to help them cope with the trauma of the alien invasion.
The two are joined by Seychelle Gabriel, as an orphaned teenager lending hands in running the community and Will Patton, who plays a fierce leader of the resistance against the alien invaders.
Falling Skies is set to premiere on June 2011, on TNT. Watch the trailer for Falling Skies below:
