November 2013 might be a long wait for "Hunger Games" fans but all thanks to dedicated and not to mention obsessed fans of the franchise, a few behind-the-scenes photos were stolen on set. The weekend hypothesis of the cast of "The Hunger Games" shooting in Hawaii has been confirmed. After much rumors going around of Jennifer Lawrence all suit up in Hawaii, thanks to fans taking a break there too, fact is that "Catching Fire" is indeed being filmed at the place.

Much to the delight of fans, Jennifer Lawrence along with Sam Claflin and Josh Hutcherson are filming the scenes for the Quarter Quell. For those who haven't read the book yet, spoilers alert, the Quarter Quell marks the anniversary of districts' defeat by the capitol. Apart from involving parties at the capitol, it also involves winning tributes to head back to the arena in a fight to the death.

Fans will be delighted to hear that the film promises more visual appeal than its predecessor all thanks to Director Francis Lawrence take on the IMAX format. Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta Mellark in the film, spoils a bit mildly on such issue.

"They actually built a cornucopia in Atlanta that we shot at, and it looks amazing, and the way that the spokes got out, and the way everyone comes up on the pedestals and the water - it looks incredible," he gushed. "I've seen some of the CG renderings that [director] Francis [Lawrence] has worked on, and they look really, really great," explains Hutcherson in an interview with MTV.

Right after the IMAX format shoots in Atlanta, the cast and crew head right to Hawaii for the Quarter Quell scenes. All thanks to a Twitter fan on vacation at Hawaii, the Quarter Quell scene was shot and spread on the web for "Hunger Games" fans. Shooting in Hawaii is said to wrap up by the end of December which gives a few dedicated fans to head there and see the action up front.
