There is another new member who has given a green light to the much anticipated film of 2014, Hunger Games Mockingjay. 'American Horror Story; star Lily Rabe would be playing Commander Lyme in the Jennifer Lawrence starrer.

Before the release of 'Caching Fire' this November, high expectations are being built around Mockingjay part 1 and part 2. After Julliane Moore joining the young cast of the film it is the popular television actress Rabe who would be adding her skills to the film. So is Rabe fit to play the role of Commander Lyme?

Till now Rabe has not done any memorable role on the big screen. She has appeared sparingly in films like No Reservations, What Just Happened and All Good Things. We wonder how Rabe would prepare for the part of Commander Lyme who is been declared champion of' Hunger Games' long before Jennifer Lawrence character Katniss appears on the scene?

In the book, Lyme is described as fearsome commander of District 2 who is imposing, more than 6 feet tall, middle aged and very brawny. Lily Rabe sure has androgynous looks and is full bodied like Lyme; however she is not more than 6 feet tall. A slew of 'Hunger Game' fans have expressed their disappointment on Lily Rabe being cast as Commander Lyme.

However looking at her Broadway acting experience we think Rabe would be able to add a lot of layers to her role in Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 1 and part 2.

Praising Rabe one of 'Hunger Games' fan wrote on Facebook fan page "Amazing actress! The casting director needs a standing ovation! Great actors! Wow!!!,

Lily Rabe said that she is thrilled to be a part of such a huge franchise and is looking forward to work with the amazing cast of the movie'
