‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ Katniss And Peeta Cry Together [Spoilers]
A new video of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" shows Katniss and Peeta crying together. The video also includes a scene of Katniss with her sister in the movie and features the late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman. [Spoiler Alert]
Some of the trailers of the upcoming movie "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" showed that Peeta has joined President Snow and the Capitol. He was also seen demanding that the rebels lay down their weapons. Peeta was once Katniss' friend and ally.
The reasons why Peeta has switched sides has not been revealed. The new video however shows him crying while talking to Katniss over a video call. Katniss asks Peeta what the Capitol has done to him that he was behaving in such a manner.
One of the very first trailers of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" showed Peeta standing next to President Snow with a vacant expression on his face. The Capitol will release a number of propaganda videos to persuade and intimidate the rebels into laying down their arms.
The late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who plays the role of Plutarch Heavensbee in the movie, is seen discussing Katniss Everdeen with President Alma Coin. The video shows Plutarch talking about Katniss being the face of the brewing rebellion.
Scenes of a devastated District 13 can be seen in the video. The shock experienced by Katniss after witnessing the destruction may motivate her further to lead the struggle against the Capitol and inspire a nation into action.
Some of the fight scenes featuring in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" are shown in the video. The rebels appear to be using guerrilla tactics against the soldiers of the Capitol. The scene shows rebels climbing the trees while the soldiers of the Capitol get killed in a land mine trap.
Alma Coin, played by Julianne Moore, is the President of District 13. She is seen addressing a large gathering of the rebels. Will she be able to galvanize the people in her district to fight against the Capitol, especially after the devastation the district has witnessed?
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" is slated to be released on Nov. 20, 2014 in Australia and New Zealand and on Nov 21 in Canada, UK and the U.S. The movie is one of the most highly anticipated for the year.
