Cast members Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson pose at the premiere of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" in Los Angeles
Elizabeth Banks said, "I was like, 'I'm way too old to be doing this!' but I thought, I don't want my kids thinking their mother wouldn't get out on a tube. Well, I nearly died. I did a full cartwheel in the air as I went into the water. But it was totally fun and worth it." REUTERS/Mario Anzuoni

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" film was reportedly shooting in Atlanta, Georgia in October 2013. Blogger Karen Kelly's house happened to be nearby where "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" crew chose to film some scenes from the movie so she took some photos and posted it on her blog called Georgia Goods, which features good stuff from Georgia. According to Kelly, the film crew shot at the Pullman Yard in Atlanta, Georgia. Click HERE to check out the photos that Kelly took.

Kelly said that she even went up to the rooftop terrace just so she can have a better view of the "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" film set. She was hoping to catch a glimpse of the actors, especially the lead star Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the heroine Katniss Everdeen.

"One morning, I went up to the rooftop terrace to have a look - and lo and behold, there was tons of action going on. I could see what looked like actors as well as cameramen and lighting techs. After a bit of watching, I decided to see if I could get a better view through my zoom lens. Turns out the view was not too shabby!" wrote Kelly on her Georgia Goods blog.

Unfortunately, she wasn't able to see Lawrence or any of the other actors such as Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale Hawthorne or Josh Hutcherson who plays Peeta Mellark. But, she thinks it was still cool to actually see some scenes of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" being shot near her home, especially because she will watch it when it is shown in the theatres.

According to CBS News, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" will be split into two parts. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" will be shown on Nov. 21, 2014 and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" will be shown on Nov. 20, 2015.

YAHOO Movies! reports that Josh Hutcherson was seen in a local eatery in Georgia.

There have been some rumours before that the "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" will shoot in various parts of Georgia. With the pictures that Georgia Goods blogger Karen Kelly shot of one of the film's set at Pullman Yard in Atlanta, Georgia, it just proves that the rumours are indeed true. Are they going to shoot the rest of the film in the same place or will they move to another location? Stay tuned for more updates about "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay."
