'Hunger Games' Stars Sizzle at the Premiere [PHOTOS]
The "Hunger Games" premiere was a blast and by the looks of the stars that made it to the premiere, it was eventful as well. Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson heated up the Los Angeles premiere along with a few other cast members. Fans will be glad to hear that they shared a few jokes to laugh on plus a few aw-inducing moments.
Peeta Mellark or known in the book as "The Boy with the Bread" played by Josh Hutcherson was nearly unrecognizable with his sleek and handsome suit. Fans will be glad to hear that Hutcherson and Lawrence keep true to the book about their one-time smooch of which Hutcherson gladly commented on.
"Twelve out of 10, 100 percent," shared Josh on rating Jennifer Lawrence's kiss which is fairly obvious as "perfect."
While Josh opted for the sleek look his co-star, Jennifer Lawrence, embodied her character Katniss Everdeen as "The Girl on Fire" with her gold gown. Lawrence wowed the crowd when she stepped out in a glamorous Prabal Gurung golden gown which she paired off with Jacob & Co. black diamond earrings and Jimmy Choo shoes.
Though his character in the book, Gale Hawthorn, is more of a third wheel, Liam Hemsworth was definitely not a spare tire at the premiere. Along with his equally stunning girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, Liam stunned with his dapper suit and tie look. Though it's obvious as to which team Miley is on, an interviewer on Celebuzz asked the 19-year old straight out: Was she Team Peeta or Team Gale?
"Come on, it's safe to say I'm Team Gale," answered a straight-faced Miley Cyrus.
Elizabeth Banks also made it to the premiere where she no longer had to wear tons of make-up and colorful clothes for her character, Effie Trinket. Banks showed of her true blonde beauty in a red mini-dress which featured one strap over the shoulder which is a total contrast to her character in "The Hunger Games."
"I really am inspired by her sartorial choices," shared Elizabeth in an interview by E! during the premiere. "My wardrobe used to be all black all the time, but now I add colors."
A few other cast members that made it to the premiere were Alexander Ludwig who plays Cato, Isabelle Fuhrman who plays Cove, Amandla Stenberg who plays Rue, Leven Rambin who plays Glimmer and Jacqueline Emerson who plays Foxface.
