Reports that the star may be up for the role of Nora Grey in the new movie adaptation, "Hush Hush," has gotten fans of the singer excited. Will this be her comeback and pursue of her acting career?

The bestselling fictional novel by Rebecca Fitzpatrick has been taken on by producers to turn into a movie, which release date has yet to be revealed. The book is about fallen angels who roam the earth looking for vessels in which they can possess during the celebration of Cheshaven.

What's really exciting about the book is that fans are excited for the casting of the lead roles. Reports have mentioned a few actors who are up for the role of the fallen archangel, Patch Cipriano. These actors, namely: "The Vampire Diaries'," Ian Somerhalder, Theo James and now maybe even Ryan Gosling could be up for the role.

Contenders for the role of Nora Grey, the lead Nephilim are said to be also "The Vampire Diaries'," actress and heroine, Nina Dobrev, Emma Watson and now Selena Gomez for the role.

Could Gomez do the role justice?

Fans are excited to test this theory out since Gomez does look like a sixteen-year-old that would fit the role of Nora Grey.

Currently, the singer hasn't been quite busy as she has been seen around hanging out with the Kardashians or simply out and about. Selena Gomez would opt to go back to acting which would mean that she would have something to take her mind off the various rumours that have been circulating the web about her on and off flame, Justin Bieber, who is said to be dissing the singer for different reasons.
