Ian Somerhalder Girlfriend: Nikki Reed Teases New Music Single Titled 'Fly With You' On Instagram
Actress Nikki Reed recently teased her new music single titled "Fly With You" on Instagram. The "Twilight" star revealed that her new music is scheduled to be out on Thursday, Nov. 20, with a percentage of the sales going to an important cause.
On Sunday, Nov. 16, Nikki Reed shared the exciting news about her music debut on her Instagram account iamnikkireed. "Can't wait for you guys to hear this! Here's a preview! More preview clips coming soon. Four days til we release it!!!" the 26-year-old actress excitedly shared to her over 500,000 followers.
Nikki Reed further posted that a percentage of her music single's sales will be aiding the non-profit animal sanctuary Save the Wildlife Waystation in Los Angeles, California in anticipation for an upcoming fundraiser. According to an Inquisitr report, Nikki Reed produced her new single with "American Idol" Season 10 contestant Stefano Langone and Dmadd. The report further revealed that the "Twilight" actress got to know Stefano Langone through her "American Idol" alum ex-husband Paul McDonald.
Meanwhile, boyfriend Ian Somerhalder showed his support on Instagram where he proudly shared Nikki's upcoming single and praised her for her hard work and dedication. The 35-year-old "Vampire Diaries" star shared the preview of his girlfriend's upcoming music single to his more than 3 million followers on his Instagram account.
"Wow! I can't wait for you guys to hear this song in its entirety!" the CW star wrote as a caption to Nikki's "Fly With You" preview on his Instagram account iansomerhalder last Monday, Nov. 17. Ian Somerhalder continued to declare his love and admiration for Nikki Reed's diversity as a human being and an artist.
"It's got a really great charitable component-these animals are amazing. Wow. Thank you for being a bad-ass woman as an artist and activist Nikki... Love, Ian," Somerhalder posted. The TVD star has been expressing his love for the "Twilight" star on social media sites.
As for the fan backlash that Nikki Reed received online, Ian Somerhalder defended his new lady love by telling the haters that they do not even know the person they are attacking. The actor described Nikki Reed as a compassionate and beautiful human being and everything is reflected on her Instagram or Twitter feed.
