Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev: 'Vampire Diaries' Stars Recall Their Favorite Scene from Pilot Season [WATCH VIDEOS]
As "The Vampire Diaries" mark their success with the 100th episode, the CW TV series' stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev take a look back at their journey on the show and reveal the favorite scene for their characters Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert in the pilot season.
Ian, 35, shared that his favorite scene involves his bad boy vampire character Damon Salvatore dancing around the Salvatore mansion with Vicki Donovan (Kayla Ewell). "Kayla Ewell in her underwear for a week was not the worst thing that's ever happened, because she's profoundly beautiful and talented and really giving," revealed the actor further in the Entertainmentwise.com report.
Ian's co-star, Nina Dobrev, revealed that the scene where her doppelganger character Katherine Pierce brutally cut off John Gilbert's (David Anders) fingers will always be memorable to her. Ms Debrov recounted that she initially went through mixed emotions before filming that scene. "It was like, '[Gasps] She's doing what?! That's so disgusting! Oh my God, I can't wait to do it!'," shared the actress.
Additionally, the TVD cast members find the 100th episode an incredible achievement for their hard work. "It's like, 'Oh my God, we did 100 episodes. Basically, like 50 movies.' It is a milestone. It's a big accomplishment that not many shows can say that they have reached," gushed Ms Dobrev.
Co-star Paul Wesley, who portrays vampire Stefan Salvatore, has also weighed in on filming 100 episodes already for the CW TV series. "I haven't passed out yet from 100 episodes, so that's impressive. Not to be anticlimactic, but if you didn't tell me it was 100 episodes, I really wouldn't know. We're just sort of going at it," stated the 31-year-old actor.
Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder revealed on Twitter what he is up to aside from his work on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5. The Instagram image that the TVD star shared shows he is working with the "Funny Or Die" crew for a hilarious video due to come out next week.
"Shooting #FOD aka Funny Or Die with @idtweeps @aaronmarion and bad-ass #FOD crew. Laughing my ass off - can't wait to you all to see this next week. Viewer discretion is advised. Love you little ones ;) Thank you, Funny Or Die!!!!" wrote Ian on his Twitter account @iansomerhalder as a caption his shirtless photo, according to the WetPaint report.
