Ian Somerhalder arrived in Brazil to attend a press conference for the hit CW TV series "The Vampire Diaries" as well as the promo event for the Azzaro Pour Homme fragrance that he endorses. As the new face of Azzaro Pour Homme, the actor even teased on Instagram that maybe now he can get a new girl in his life.

Ian's caption to the Instagram post reads: "Thank you for more presents. More love, more screams, and thank you Azzaro Por Homme for the love, the trip to Lake Como, the trip to Brasil, and for making me smell like a man :) Maybe now I can get a girl! What do you think???" Click HERE to see photo.

As for his TVD character Damon Salvatore, executive producer Julie Plec previously teased that fans can still see Ian Somerhalder and co-star Kat Graham, who portrays Bonnie, in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6. However, Ian Somerhalder continues to say goodbye to his vampire character.

According to the Carter Matt report, Ian Somerhalder posted on Twitter the words "Rest in Peace Damon Salvatore" further adding the hashtag #GameOver. Along with the caption is the link to the Instagram image that shows a gravestone with Damon's name on it. Click HERE to see photo.

Ian Somerhalder may be bidding his character farewell but Julie Plec has confirmed that Damon and Bonnie will be back in the show because there is a million different ways to do that. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is expected to return in October 2014 on the CW Network.
