Ian Somerhalder: 'Vampire Diaries' Actor Answers Questions And Shares A Secret From The #CWestionator
The official Facebook page of "The Vampire Diaries" recently shared a #CWestionator video featuring cast member Ian Somerhalder, who portrays Damon Salvatore in the CW TV series. The 36-year-old actor answered a couple of questions to excite the millions of TVD fans who are patiently waiting for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 to return in 2015.
The first question in the #CWestionator wanted the TVD star to tell something that no one knows about him. Ian Somerhalder looked around first before revealing in a hushed voice that he is in love with his co-star Paul Wesley, who portrays his on-screen brother, Stefan Salvatore.
"Everyone knows that dude," TVD cast member Paul Wesley stated in the background. Then, the #CWestionator asked how many times actor Ian Somerhalder has been killed on the show.
"I'm already dead!" the actor responded. The next question asked what kind of puppy the actor would be and Ian Somerhalder answered that he will be the "most adorable one." When asked which celebrity he gets mistaken for, Ian Somerhalder took a moment to think and then responded comedian Carrot Top. Click HERE to watch Ian Somerhalder's #CWestionator video.
When "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 returns from its long holiday break, one episode will be directed by Ian Somerhalder. The heartthrob actor shared the good news on his Instagram account iansomerhalder last Thursday, Dec. 18.
"This is pretty cool too... Who is directing the next episode? On set with him right now;) Thank you to all involved in the decision-making process for giving me the opportunity to do this-I am so grateful. I'll do my very verry very best not to screw it up," Somerhalder posted as a caption to shared image of the episode's script cover. Click HERE to see photo.
The ending of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 mid-season finale had Damon and Elena (Nina Dobrev) almost on a mistletoe kiss but villain Kai (Chris Wood) did not let that happen. In an exclusive Alloy Entertainment interview, executive producer Caroline Dries teased that the fans can still watch the "Delena" relationship in 2015.
Caroline Dries revealed that the upcoming episodes will show Damon and Elena's "sort of the honeymoon period of a new boyfriend/girlfriend relationship." The executive producer assured that it will be fun to watch that initial stage in the "Delena" relationship.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 will return on Jan. 22, 2015 with episode 11 titled "Woke Up With a Monster."
