Ian Somerhalder: 'Vampire Diaries' Actor Looking Hot and Sexy in New Azzaro Pour Homme Fragrance Ad [WATCH]

Azzaro Pour Homme recently released the ad fragrance that features "Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder. The video ad shared on YouTube and social media sites like Instagram may be brief but the 35-year-old heartthrob actor looked hot and sexy as the new face of the cologne brand.

"I think that when a man wears fragrance, he instinctively knows that this is above all for the benefit of others. The intention of seduction is always there," Ian stated on the Azzaro Facebook page, according to the Hollywood Life report. The Azzaro scent that Ian advertises has been described on their Facebook page to be "the scent of pure seduction, the symbol of eternal masculinity."

Ian's connection to the fragrance brand was announced on March 3, Monday and the TVD star joins the other famous male celebrities as the face of the fragrance like singer Enrique Iglesias and "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson. The video ad that was shot at Lake Como in July 2013 showed Ian Somerhalder spraying on the perfume with co-star model Ana Beatriz Barros walking towards the "Vampire Diaries" star on the table in a sexy white dress obviously attracted to his scent.

The clip ends with the beautiful model on Ian's lap. The E!News report claims the 31-year-old Brazilian model has appeared in different Victoria Secret Fashion Shows as well as on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

On Tuesday morning, March 25, Ian Somerhalder shared his photo ad for the men's cologne on Instagram. "Here it is!I think this came out pretty awesome...An AMAZING experience for sure! Follow my adventures through the sumptuous villa at Lake Como w/ the dazzling Ana Beatriz Barros for @Azzaro_Official Pour Homme #AzzaroPourHomme Thank you!" the actor wrote as a caption to the image. Fans can catch Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 that airs Thursday nights at 8 pm ET on the CW Network. The hit TV series returns with Episode 17 titled "Rescue Me" on March 27, 2014.
