Ian Somerhalder: 'Vampire Diaries' Actor Reveals His Regret in the CW TV Series
"Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder is currently out of the picture in the CW TV series after his character, Damon Salvatore, disappeared in the Other Side that collapsed. At a Brazilian convention, the 35-year-old actor revealed what his main regret is in the CW TV series if his vampire character does not return.
The Entertainmentwise.com report included a video where Ian Somerhalder made the revelation. The TVD star shared that he was mostly saddened with the fact that he did not spend all this time with co-star Kat Graham, who portrays Bonnie Bennett in the "The Vampire Diaries."
"Because she is not only my sister but she's one of the most talented actresses in Hollywood," Somerhalder explained to the fans present at the convention recently held. Click HERE to watch the video.
Ian Somerhalder has been teasing fans as well on social media sites about the fate of Damon Salvatore. The latest comes from his Instragam post featuring Damon's grave with the message "Rest in Peace." However, executive producer Julie Plec has assured the fans that Damon and Bonnie will return and it will be a part of the mystery surrounding Season 6.
The Wet Paint report suggests the new season will be a great opportunity for Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham to work together since their TVD characters shared a moment before the Other Side collapsed in the Season 5 finale. A new dynamic sounds interesting and the Damon-Bonnie friendship appears to be the perfect storyline to focus on because the two only talked to each other because of the people they care about.
Meanwhile, Wet Paint's speculation report for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 ponders on what happened to Elena (Nina Dobrev) after losing two important people in her life, the man she loves and her best friend.
There will be a time jump happening "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 and Elena could be continuing with her normal life as she enrolls for her second year at Whitmore College or she is far away from her home in Mystic Falls.
Other speculations has Elena still in denial and refuses to give up with the reality that Damon and Bonnie are gone or she has finally accepted Damon and Bonnie's fate and moved on with her life. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is scheduled to return October 2014 on the CW Network.
