Iggy Azalea is channelling her inner Alicia Silverstone in her newest music video. The Australian rapper’s “Fancy” sees her as Cher, the iconic role Silverstone played in the ‘90s hit teen flick “Clueless.”

In the 3.5-minute video, the 23-year-old hip-hop artist wears Cher’s most unforgettable clothes, including the canary yellow tartan that Silverstone wore at the start of the film.

There are technological improvements in the video, though. Instead of the desktop PC that Cher used to match an outfit for the day, Azalea used a tablet.

The next scene mimics the classroom debate sccene in “Clueless,” in which Silverstone’s Cher famously argued that there was no RSVP sign on the Statue of Liberty. Azalea’s music video even has its own Dionne and Amber.

English singer Charli XCX sings the chorus in the song, although she did not seem to copy any character in the 1995 film.

Other identical scenes from the movie include the freeway incident (complete with a teeth brace-wearing Murray), the high school party scene, and the tennis class scene, wherein the girls were wearing black-and-white outfits.

Azalea said that they wanted Silverstone to appear in the video, but it just didn’t happen.

“We attempted to arrange a cameo from Silverstone, but wasn’t able to pull it off in time,” the rapper said. “Hopefully Alicia thinks that I did it justice.

Though it would have been a blast if they had “Cher” in the music video, Azalea and her team did the next best thing to make their homage more authentic: they shot at the same school and on the same freeway as the film.
