Iggy Azalea Did Not Lip-Sync On Stage With J. Lo
A video of Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez performing their track "Actin' Like That" has made headlines recently after it has been reported that the Aussie-born singer-rapper was lip-syncing to the song during the performance. However, Iggy has repudiated the allegations and said that she wasn't really lip-syncing at all.
According to BuzzFeed, Iggy was performing with J. Lo at the Chicago's B96 Summerbash in June. During the performance, Iggy seemed to have missed the cue on her ear piece and failed to sing for her part on the song.

Iggy had a puzzled look on her face. J. Lo, on the other hand, looked just as perplexed as Iggy. The "Fancy" singer sang a few lines, but eventually decided to just drop the entire song. She just danced on the stage and continue to wave at the crowd until the musical number was over. J. Lo did her part to save the song and said that people should just buy her CD if they want to hear Iggy's part.
Some entertainment news sites thought Iggy's alleged lip-syncing performance wasn't so fancy at all. Apparently, Iggy has already spoken about the mishap during her duet performance with J. Lo in June.

Recently, Iggy has also addressed the matter in another tweet.
@BuzzFeed i didn't forget to lip-sync you nutters my mic was literally OFF i picked up the wrong one as i walked out, carried on & had fun. — IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) September 6, 2014
"We did a show together in Chicago where my microphone wasn't switched on," Iggy told ET Online. "And I said, at least I didn't fall over," she added.
Musical artists, like Iggy, are always under scrutiny when it comes to clever mishaps in live performances, especially now in the era of smartphones and social media. Iggy has had a number of mishaps while performing on stage.
During a musical number for her hit song "Fancy" prior the MTV Video Music Awards, Iggy fell off the platform where she was singing. Fortunately, Iggy didn't sustain any broken bone.

Still, while performing her chart-topping song "Fancy" at the "Dancing With The Stars," Iggy's earpiece wasn't functioning well, making it difficult for her to sing. Nonetheless, Iggy did her thing and went on with her number.
