Iggy Azalea messed up her live performance on “Dancing with the Stars,” and it’s all because of a technical glitch. The Australian rapper apologises to the viewers of the U.S. show after, blaming technical malfunction for her slip-up.

On Tuesday night’s season finale, Iggy performed her chart-topping song “Fancy” live with Charli XCX in a ‘50s prom theme with the DWTS contestants.

But Iggy appeared to be confused and struggling with her own lyrics as soon as she uttered her first lines. She then stopped trying to catch up then addressed no one in particular to say, “I’m so sorry, but there’s something wrong with my ears.”

Fortunately, her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, was professional enough to carry on with their dance steps without showing any signs of distress. Iggy was then seen taking off her earpiece.

After the earpiece malfunction, Iggy performed the rest of her song without any issue.

Some professional artists would have ignored the technical difficulties and just continue with their live performance, but the 23-year-old opted to inform everyone that her flub wasn’t her fault.

Iggy then took to Twitter to explain what happened, saying she couldn’t hear the track.

Iam so sorry guys! My in ears messed up and I couldn't hear the track. The dramas of live TV. Shit happens. Still really enjoyed it.

Her brief blunder on live TV was quickly forgotten, though, as viewers were more concerned with the announcement of winners.

Paralympic snowboarder Amy Purdy, actress Candace Cameron Bure and Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis were all competing for the highly coveted disco ball trophy.

Meryl and partner Maksim were announced the winners, while Amy and Derek Hough took the runner-up position. Candace and Mark Ballas were third placers.
