Iggy Azalea on Scarlett Johansson: ‘She’s my Woman Crush Forever’; ‘Fancy’ Singer Rules Billboard’s Hot 100 for the Longest Time for a Female Rapper
Iggy Azalea probably has had enough of ogling hot men now that she is in a relationship with Los Angeles Lakers' star player Nick Young, and she figured it wouldn't hurt to reveal her feelings of admiration and adoration for another hot gal like her. The flawless "Fancy" singer recently revealed that she has a "woman crush" on Scarlett Johansson.
Speaking to the Daily Star during the 2014 Wireless Festival, Iggy revealed the top five female personalities in the entertainment industry that she has a high regard for. Iggy revealed that she has a crush on one of Hollywood's hottest actresses, Johansson. Iggy further stated that she even watches Johansson's, who is expecting first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac, films. Iggy said she is fascinated with Johansson's beauty and can't help but feel amazed by it.
"She's my woman crush forever," Iggy uttered.
The Aussie singer-rapper also said she admires other female entertainers in the music industry such as Dolly Parton, Aretha Franklin, Missy Elliot, and Beyonce. Quite remarkably, Johansson is the only actress on Iggy's list.
Meanwhile, Iggy is destined to shine even more as she continues to rule the Billboard Hot 100 charts. She has surpassed Li'l Kim's five-week reign at the top spot back in 2001 with the all-star collaboration "Lady Marmalade" featuring Christina Aguilera, Pink, and Mya.
Iggy's song "Fancy," which features Charli XCX, has stayed at number one for six weeks now, Billboard reported.
Iggy was thankful of such accomplishment and shared her delight on her Instagram followers. She said that the accomplishment has given her motivation to continue to do good and deliver good music in her career. She said that her fans can expect her to exert more "energy" in her upcoming singles. She is hopeful that the fans will enjoy her music.
"Black Widow" is the latest single of Iggy's current album "The New Classic." The song is a collaboration with British singer-songwriter and actress Rita Ora.
