Another celebrity has expressed his concern over Amanda Bynes' consistent bad press lately.

Lance Bass, producer of the 2005 Love Wrecked movie which starred the 27-year old embattled actress, spoke with the Las Vegas radio show "Mark and Mercedes" on Wednesday to share his feelings about his old friend.

"It's one of those situations where obviously there are some mental problems there and she's not able to see that. We all are (able to see it)," the 'NSync member was quoted to have said.

"No one is able to get to her. I'm actually really scared for her," he told the radio hosts. "I hope someone is able to get to her to give her the help she needs."

However, no matter how concerned Bass could be for his old pal, the former child actress would rather choose not to hear any of it and instead asserts nothing is wrong with her.

"I am not crazy," she posted on Twitter.

"I ignored Lance Bass on Twitter and now he is saying I have a mental illness. Sorry you're an ugly ex boy band member with no talent or career," Amanda tweeted.

"I haven't spoken to Lance Bass in 11 years. To say I have a mental illness out of nowhere makes me lash out! You're making me crazy!"

The two first met on the set of the film Love Wrecked in 2005. Counting back, Amanda's statement obviously doesn't make any sense.

Bass pointed this out by tweeting: "Now, I really don't think this is Amanda - we shot Love Wrecked together 7 years ago and she was just at my bday party 3 years ago. Hmmm 11?"

"Ouch - the Amanda I know would never had said something like this to me - either this is a fake person or she really does have a mental illness. Way too sad. I reached out - all I can do," Bass added.
