Inside Kris Jenner's lavish 'Gatsby Era' inspired birthday bash
Kris Jenner is 60 and fabulous. The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch celebrated her birthday in style, in a lavish 1920’s era birthday party inspired by “The Great Gatsby.” The party took place at The Lot in West Hollywood on Friday, just a day after Kris’ actual birthday on Thursday, Nov. 5.
Kris' six children, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner, sent out invitations to the big bash. They promised free-flowing champagne for the selected guests and also encouraged attendees to wear “Gatsby Era” inspired outfits.
As expected, the family members themselves went all-out with their outfits. Kris shared a photo of herself with her daughters, as they all pulled out all the stops to give justice to the theme. The birthday girl wore a long body-hugging white dress which she accentuated with a white fur stole. She also wore a wig, which created a short, blunt bob. She completed her look by wearing some bling on her head, typical of the 1920’s era.
Kris is flanked by her daughters, who wore a variety of sparkling beaded outfits. Kourtney Kardashian took the unconventional route, by dressing up as The Great Gatsby himself. She wore her hair slicked back in a bun and donned a white shirt and black suit and trousers.
Among the list of other high-profile attendees is “Keeping up With the Kardashians” executive producer Ryan Seacrest. Designers Ricardo Tisci and Olivier Rousteing also managed to grace the occasion. Entertainment for the evening was provided by David Forster, Charlie Wilson and El Debarge.
Earlier on Friday, the Kardashian-Jenner gang visited Lamar Odom at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where they celebrated his 36th birthday.
