Dubbed as "America's Adele," Molly Kate Kestner has made a promising debut in her career as she made people listen to her original song "His Daughter," posted the video online and within three weeks produce a viral video with a stunning six million plus views on YouTube.

The 18-year-old teen from the state of Minnesota in the U.S. has appeared to have not only captured the heart of "Star Trek" star George Takei who shared the video to his seven million followers on Facebook, but Kestner has also captured the hearts of millions of people around the world.

"Has America found its young Adele? I'm nearly breathless from listening," Takei wrote to his seven million followers on Facebook.

Kestner's emotional song His Daugher is reportedly the Minnesota teen's solo at her senior choir recital. According to a New York Daily News report, the song is about a woman who went through an unexpected pregnancy.

The newly dubbed America's Adele wrote the song in 2013 but only got to play it at her senior chorus recital as advised by her choir teacher. Apparently, Kestner was right to follow her choir teacher's advice because waiting before releasing the song has definitely paid off for her. The report also commended the song as something "worth the wait."

According to an Austin Daily Herald report, Kestner plans to study college and attend North Central University in Minneapolis.

"The plan is go to college and kind of see where God leads me," Kestner told the publication.

However, after the video Kestner posted on YouTube has gone viral, it appears that there are bigger plans for the Austin teen.

Celebrities are getting hooked by the song, including "American Idol" Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks who has showed her support to Kestner through her Twitter account.
