iOS Game Apps: Badland, Duke Nukem II, Frozen Synapse Debut on iOS
Three games are coming your way to the iOS as Badland and Duke Nukem II finally become available for download at the App Store, while Frozen Synapse gets the official nod that an iOS version is in the works.
Badland lands in the iOS
The side-scroller adventure game from Trials Evolution is finally available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, and you'll not only be treated to some action and adventure, but also in a beautiful scenery that's already worth looking it by itself.
For this game, you'll have 4 unique levels, with the promise of updates in the weeks to come. If you have other friends who love this game, you can go on the multiplayer mode for up to four players, and fight against each other to survive, reports Joystiq.
It's a fun game that promises no in-app purchases, because it already has the complete game out when you download it.
Softpedia reports that Badland is out for $3.99.
Duke Nukem II
This game has already been released 20 years ago, and to commemorate this, Apogee Software has re-released it at the App store.
Think of the game as similar to the Contraband series, with the playable titular character dubbed to be a notorious vulgar one in the gaming, reports The Examiner. The game consists of shooting enemies and picking up items for health and weapons to get through 32 levels.
You can get Duke Nukem II for only $1.99, available for iOS devices from the iPod Touch 3 onwards.
Frozen Synapse is slated to become an iOS game
The turn-based, team-on-team strategy game Frozen Synapse from developer Mode 7 has been announced to release an iOS version.
It has been a challenge condensingsuch a complex interface into a format that makes it viable on tablet," said Mode 7 managing director Paul Taylor to Digital Spy.
But the work is worth it, considering how the functions and controls such as zooming around mps and dragging waypoints with a swipe are perfect to the touch.
The price and release date are yet to be revealed, but the game offers cross-platform play so that you can play in any device or even your Mac versions and continue where you left off playing.
