October 2013 is another special date should be mark to all gadget fans out there as iOS 7, iPhone 5s, Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and LG Nexus 5 are expected to be launched on the same season.

iPhone 5s and iOS 7

iOS 7 is a little behind schedule and engineers are being pulled from OS X 10.9 project to work on the mobile operating system. Around September or October is going to be the most anticipated release time of the latest iOS generation and iPhone.

Apple promised to give developers "an in-depth look at what's next in iOS and OS X" and mobile web trackers have already seen iOS 7 popping up in their logs. Tim Cook also confirmed that the man behind iOS 7 is Jony Ive who has been a part of famous hardware found in MacBook Pro, iMac, iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad and iPad Mini.

"Recognized that Jony had contributed significantly to the look and feel of Apple over many, many years and could do that for our software as well, absolutely incredible," according to Tim Cook.

Jony Ive seemed to have re-designed the entire iOS with all new flat-look and anti-skeuomorphism which rumours are already suggesting. iOS 7 will no longer to have glossy realistic effect and replaced by flat, black & white design.

Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and LG Nexus 5

Another mobile operating system likely to be revealed this October is the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Delayed by the revelation of Android 4.3 due to iteration issue, Google may finally release the latest and newest Android version.

According to the European site, Android Geeks, the original expected launch of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie is schedule in 2014 and context rolled out during Google I/O conference indicated an earlier release in 2013. A video presentation showed an animation of Bugdroid or the Android mascot eating Key Lime Pie beside a girl eating an ice cream.

This video animation is the largest base of speculation and interpretation of upcoming unveiling of Android 5.0 Most likely, Google will release it in October and probably at the same time as Android's Fifth Anniversary.

Moreover, LG Nexus 5 has been spotted due to a prototype device already shown to Google CEO Larry Page under tight security measures and speculated to be running Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Although no other specifications was revealed, a source reliable of leaks coming from South Korea confirmed Nexus 5 being tested for already a month running the upcoming Android version.
