Apple Inc. recently hinted through a job listing post about the company's interest in the "Flexible Displays" technology. The feature will reportedly be incorporated in the upcoming iPhone 5S and iPhone 6.

Web site 9to5Mac.com managed to capture a screen shot of Apple's job listing before the technology giant removed it abruptly after posting. The message reads: "Apple Inc. is looking for a Display Specialist to lead the investigation on emerging display technologies such as high optical efficiency LCD, AMOLED and flexible display to improve overall display optical performance."

Apple requires the person who will take on the specialist job position as someone capable of analyzing the "trade-offs between design, process, optical performance and implementation feasibility." The job listing simply implies that Apple is still in the early stages of iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 development.

According to 9to5Mac's report, Apple has been considering different means on how to include the flexible display into their line of devices. The company has been registering patents since 2012 for the latest iPhone design that includes a curved display where the flexible screen display technology could be utilized.

Analysts have commonly agreed that flexible displays technology in the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 will allow the smart phones to have a display built on a solid chassis with more curved or wrap-around displays. Another important advantage is the durability since such screen displays can most likely take in strong impacts.

Apple's job listing post on the flexible displays only confirms that the iPhones, or possibly even the Ipads, will have the said feature and the company is headed towards the flexible screen display direction. In other reports, the iPhone 5S is predicted to have a 2013 summer launch while the iPhone 6 arrival will be in 2014.
