iPhone 6 - 5 Revolutionary Release Date Features Analysts Expect
With the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, Apple has raised the expectations from its next iteration - the iPhone 6. Analysts speculate what the next revolutionary feature the company plans to bring to the market on the release date.
Feature #1: Bigger Screen
Fans have for long complained that a bigger screen option has not been made available to them, the media savvy customers have been forced to consider other devices. Gaming enthusiasts also look forward to a bigger screen.
Will Apple finally relent and make a 5 inch iPhone 6? There have been strong voices of opposition to it though. Some analysts feel that the step could be seen as Apple copying Samsung, a tag Apple may not tolerate.
Feature #2: Solar Panels
Apple has a patented technology that can bring solar panels to the smartphones. The patented technology allows Apple to stack up touch sensors on top of solar cells. The electrodes on the integrated panel can be used for both collecting solar energy and for sensing on a touch sensor array
The technology, if used, can substantially increase the battery life of the device. It gives the users freedom from having to plug in their devices for charging, especially in public areas like airports et al.
Feature #3: Digital Signature
Apple has another patented technology that allows celebrities to sign the movie, music album or eBooks of fans - digitally. The technology allows a celebrity to send the digital signature to the cloud where it gets authenticated and from there it's sent to the fan.
Authors of eBooks could be most happy if this technology features on the iPhone 6, many of them spend hours at a book signing event. This new technology can send the digital signature to the whole group, assembled there.
Feature #4: 128 GB Variant
Some companies have launched a 128 GB variant on their smartphones and long time rival Samsung is reportedly producing 128 GB memory modules for its next generation of smartphones.
Analysts expect that it is only natural for Apple to offer a 128 GB variant to remain competitive. However, the memory option may not be the only consideration for a customer to buy the device. The new features on iPhone 6 will ultimately be the major factor.
Feature #5: Quad core Processor
Analysts expect that a processor upgrade could become necessary this time. The Samsung Galaxy S4 and other similar devices offer a Quad core processor. Apple has already launched the 64 bit architecture on its mobile devices.
A Quad core processor is seen as the next logical step in the iPhone 6, according to analysts. Apple is expected to launch the new iPad 5 in October, click here to read about the rumoured features of the device.
