Irina Shayk is the sexiest woman on the planet, according to Maxim Russia. Shayk claimed the top spot of Maxim Russian's Hot 100 Women.

The Russian supermodel may be surprised to learn that she bagged the number 1 place in the Hot 100 list, but people, especially her beau Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, would undoubtedly not going to be in revelation to find out that she claimed the first place.

Shayk is best known for her striking and extraordinary looks. She always looks effortlessly sexy and stylish no matter what she is wearing. It doesn't matter if she shows some skin or if she wears an old-fashioned outfit, she can still look good, that's for sure. Shayk is a sexy woman no matter what she wears.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model could pretty much get accustomed to all the praises for now. She also ranked first in the list of 50 Hottest Russian Women compiled by Complex Magazine. According to Models.com, Shayk ranks thirteenth in the list of the Top 20 Sexiest Models. In 2011, she was also voted as the Sexiest Woman in the World by a magazine based called Periodika, which is based in Hungary. It is clear that Shayk is becoming a household name all over the entire world, and not only in her native hometown Russia.

She is currently keeping herself busy with her modeling career. She has recently graced the cover of 7 Hollywood Magazine, and continuously makes appearances in numerous fashion shows here and there. The last one that she did was for designer Anouki Areshidze.

Aside from modeling, Irina has also tried her hand at acting. She played the role of Hercules' wife in the upcoming flick Hercules: The Thracian Wars. The movie is expected to be release sometime in 2014.
