Liberty Ross, wife of Rupert Sanders who was caught kissing "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart, has finally spoken up on her husband's affair. Ross, a model, filed for divorce from her director husband Rupert Sanders was caught kissing his "Snow White" and the "Huntsman" star Stewart last summer in July 2012.

The affair of Rupert Sanders and Kristen Stewart broke-up three relationships; Kristen Stewart and her long time boyfriend Robert Pattinson ended their relationship, Sanders' wife filed for divorce and hence his marriage broke up, and even Rupert and Kristen did not see each other after the scandal. Ross has called that time of her life "horrible."

"It was horrible," she tells the Vanity Fair magazine in their December issue. "It was really the worst, really the worst."

Though it has been some time when her husband of sixteen years was caught kissing the "Twilight" star by the paparazzi, the wounds are still fresh in her mind and she still falls short of words to describe the ordeal.

"I have no words to describe what we went through," she says. "But I think, for me, something always has to completely die for there to be a rebirth. And, for me, I feel like I'm going through a rebirth."

Ross, who has two children with Sanders, also revealed how difficult it was for her and her children to stay secluded in a friend's house during that time when the news of her husband kissing and hugging Stewart broke. The media wanted to bully her for pictures and her opinion but she chose to keep mum and stay mentally strong during that time for sake of her daughter Skyla and son Sonny.

"I just visualized (being) this sort of Masai warrior. I was just going to stand very still and very strong, and just let it all roll past me. I tried to keep as far away from it as I could and to understand that this is my family and it's the most precious thing to me," Ross said.

Surprisingly after all that she went through, Ross who has not ended the relationship says she doesn't have any bitter feelings for her husband but had to file for divorce as she did not have much to offer to the relationship now.

"We were together for 16 years, and that in itself is really beautiful. And we've created two exceptional lives together," she says.

"I'm not a quitter. I've done everything I could to be the perfect wife and mother and really support my husband. But I didn't have any more to give, you know?," says Ross.
