Rafael Nadal won the 2013 U.S. Open, beating Djokovic on Sept 9. This is his second U.S. Open title. He also made history because this win is his 13th Grand Slam Title. He can now be compared to other tennis icons with the most numbers of Grand Slam Title, Pete Sampras and Roger Federer, have 14 and 17, respectively.

"It's more that a dream, it's more than I could ever think of," says Nadal when asked about his feelings toward winning the championship.

"I will continue to be more competitive and will continue to keep doing better so I can have better chances of winning in tournaments like this one," he also added.

The match between World Number 1 and World Number 2 is their 37th meeting, which Nadal won 21 out of the previous 36 matches.

"I feel that winning four Grand Slams in a year is almost impossible to achieve for anyone," said Nadal.

"There are a lot of great players aside from Novak (Djokovic) these days like Andy (Murray), Roger (Federer), and David (Ferrer). These players never lose in the beginning rounds, so it is almost impossible to feel and be at your best, 100 percent in every match. If your spirits became a little low, you will surely lose the match against them," he added.

Nadal, now, has a total of two U.S. Opens, two Wimbledons, eight French Opens and an Australian Title.

A lot of people know that he just got back from an injury that made him miss the 2012 U.S. Open, the London Olympics and the Australian Open in the earlier part of 2013. However, his return in February has been great, and he had won 10 titles ever since.

"All I can promise is that I will always work hard and keep doing my things, perfect my craft so I can have better chances of winning in tournaments," he said.
