It may be the first time that Katy Perry stars in her own movie, but when she arrived during her movie's 'pink carpet' premiere, she looked like she's been doing it all this time.

The 27-year-old 'Wide Awake' singer dazzled together with her family and grandmum at the Grauman's Theatre as she wore a strapless red dress made out of velvet. Her hair was styled in vintage look with matching lipstick and shoes.

Perry gave her usually colourful performances and changed eventually into her trademark costumes with a bra made out of film reels and a popcorn skirt. To top off the look, she wore a pair of pink heels and cat's eye sunglasses. Her undergarment was made out of wrappers of classic American candy bars that maintain the entire cinema time theme.

The movie premiere was attended by a huge number of fans and with the raised platform, everyone screamed to the top of their heads when Perry waved for a greet. It was in the film that Perry was seen talking casually about the divorce with ex-husband Russell Brand and how she once thought the peak of her career was one of the main contributors of her marriage's failure.

Despite her tears shown in the movie when she was asked if she misses the British comedian, Perry looked in high spirits especially with a lot of celebrity friends gracing the premiere. Celebrities spotted included Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kathy Griffin, and DJ Caroline D'Amore.

And now, as what Perry mentioned in her previous interviews, she is all set to do some hibernation and recharge for greater things ahead of her career.

"I'm going into hiding...I want to go and write songs in the woods or something...I'm gonna unplug, take my hair extensions out, feel my head again. I'm gonna unplug and recharge, if that makes any sense. I'm gonna go away. I'm sure you know it's time for me to go the f- away," Perry explained in her interview with MTV.

This can be a good way too for Katy Perry to have everyone missing her while she is away. All the Katy Perry fans are sure for their idol to have so much more for them once she comes back.
