Twilight hunk, Robert Pattinson has admitted that his real-life romance with co-star Kristen Stewart has put a ‘’strain’ on their relationship.

In an interview with Vanity Fair for its April issue, R-Patz have hinted that his relationship with his onscreen love ‘may not stand the test of time’ as it has inevitably made an impact with him and Kristen.

"It's just very traumatic," the 24-year-old Brit proclaimed, according to UsMagazine.

R-Patz noted that he has an idea on how media will take it if in fact they call it quits.

He exclaimed, "When this is over, the media will lose interest. There'll be nothing to say. It won't fit into a headline anymore. It won't fit into a template."

The actor underscored what is it about Kristen that is to die for, admitting he was a fan of her work even before they got hooked up at the Twilight series.

"She's cool. Even before I knew her I thought she was a really good actress. Like, I saw Into the Wild, and I thought she was really good in that," R-Patz heaving on the notion that he could be actually away from someone he has truly admired and to be with someone else.

"I still think there are very few girls in her class that are as good as she is," the actor contended, giving his readers a hint of how he views himself when he thinks of Stewart.

R-Patz is featured in a recently completed drama film called, Water for Elephants and is due to be released in theaters on April 22, 2011. He plays as a caretaker for animals in a B-level circus where he fall in love with the wife of an abusive animal trainer played by Reese Witherspoon.
