Ivanka Trump aggressively approached by passenger on JetBlue flight; airline removes man from plane

Ivanka Trump travelled like an average American earlier this week, and the experience resulted in a co-passenger getting escorted out of the flight. Reports indicate that Ivanka did nothing to be berated by the man, except perhaps be the daughter of US president-elect Donald Trump.

On Thursday morning, Ivanka was on a JetBlue flight leaving John F Kennedy International Airport in New York. She had her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three kids with her. Before the flight took off, a man recognized Ivanka and started to scream at her. “Your father is ruining the country,” the man said, according to a source of TMZ. “Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private.”

The man had his child in his arms during the tirade, and Ivanka was trying to distract her own with some crayons. A passenger on the flight said that the 35-year-old business mogul ignored the man as he kept shouting.

When JetBlue personnel began to escort him off the plane, the man became furious. “You’re kicking me off for expressing my opinion?” he screamed. A source of Reuters, who was also on the plane, explained that the crew approached the man to “make sure he was calm.” However, he kept screaming. “They ruin our country, now try [to] ruin our flight!”

The airline has since released a statement explaining its decision to remove the man from that particular flight. "The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight,” it said. “Our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight."

Ivanka and her family are spending the holidays at Donald’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Along with her husband and kids, Ivanka also had several cousins flying coach on the flight.
