The executive producers of “iZombie,” Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright, gave the fans some insight about what to expect in the next episode of the TV show. Episode 2 will focus on how Liv will help solve the murder of a famous artist and get more passionate and “randy” in the process. [Warning: Spoilers Alert!]

Fans of the franchise who have watched the pilot episode of “iZombie” know that Liv takes on the personality traits of the person whose brain she eats. A video released by the producers reveals that the next episode is about the murder of an artist, and this leads to Liv picking up a new hobby of painting.

The other side effect of eating the brain of the artist is that she becomes more flirtatious. One of the scenes from the next episode shows Liv hitting on a man being interrogated by Detective Babineaux. “Since becoming a zombie, passion hasn’t really been on the table for her, so we get to have fun with her hitting on people and being little bit more randy,” Executive Producer Diane said in the video.

Liv gets to meet a fellow zombie called Blaine DeBeers in “iZombie” episode 2. The previous episode showed that she got visions of another zombie in the city, attacking someone. Liv starts searching for the second zombie in the city, and one day he suddenly appears at her office. The two characters share their experiences of life after death and what it is like to eat brains.

Executive Producer Rob Thomas said in the video that they tried to find something “fun” in the brains that she eats each week. He describes Liv to be an “ambitious, head in her books Med student.” The experience of eating the brain of the artist gives her visions of the sexual encounters of the dead victim.

Another video released by the producers from “iZombie” episode 2 is the scene where Liv describes a sexual encounter of the artist to Detective Babineaux. “You gave me fifty shades of psychic and no vital details,” Clive can be seen telling Liv in the video.
