Jack Black, Kids from ‘School of Rock’ Reunite, All Set to Rock Harder [PHOTO]
"This project is called Rock Band. I am talking about bands that really rock," says Dewey Finn in School of Rock to a bunch of newbie. He continues and looks rather frustrated, "What about "Sabbath", "AC/DC", "Motorhead," Oh what are they teaching in this place!"
And that's how the world got the rock band comprising of Dewey Finn (Jack Black) and a bunch of enthusiastic fifth-graders. But, that was back in 2003 in the smash hit, "School of Rock."
On Aug. 30, 2013, the cast of the movie met for a reunion and Miranda Cosgrove posted this Instagram photo for us rekindling hope for a sequel.

Jack Black and the grown up cast reunited for a special concert in Austin, Texas. The reunion also saw Richard Linklater (director of the film) and Michael White (co-star and writer) at the screening and Q&A at Paramount Theater in Austin, as stated by Huffington Post.
The after-party was a blast as it showcased a performance by Black and reel and real life musicians - Joey Gaydos Jr. (guitarist), Rebecca Brown (bassist), Kevin Clark (drummer) and Robert Tsai (keyboard player). Check out this picture from the rehearsal for the big day.
The young cast of the film have been rocking their hearts out till date except Miranda Cosgrove who is rocking the Hollywood with her acting skills.
"School of Rock" narrates the story of a would-be rockstar who was kicked out of his own band and how destiny made him a kickass music instructor and front man of this phenomenal rock band comprising of gifted fifth graders. In order to pay rent, Dewey Finn, character played by Black, frauds and takes up the role of a substitute teacher. He discovers the talent of the students in his class and grooms them for the Battle of the Bands.
