One of the stars of the famous MTV prank show "Jackass" has died in a car crash earlier this morning.

The 34-year-old reality star was confirmed dead after crashing his car in a highway located somewhere along Route 322 in Pennsylvania's West Goshen township at around 3 a.m. this morning. Just hours before the incident, Ryan Dunn posted a photo via his Twitter account with a caption saying he was drinking with his friends. Both Dunn and a companion died inside the car that exploded after the crash. The mother of Bam Margera, Dunn's co-star in Jackass, confirms the death of the MTV star to gossip show TMZ.

Celebrities and fans paid tribute to the shocking death of Dunn through Twitter, with posts like "Ryan Dunn from Jackass TV show and movies died in a car crash early this morning. He was only 34...so young and so sad..." from E! News correspondent Guliana Rancic. Dunn was famous for appearing on all the seasons of MTV's hit prank show Jackass along with Johnny Knoxville , Margera and Steve-O. Dunn starred on all Jackass movies including it's latest installment Jackass 3D.
