Jackie Chan Dead 2013: Where is the Chinese Actor Amid Resurfaced Fake Death Reports? [PHOTOS]
The fake Jackie Chan death reports circulating wildly on the internet has already been proven false. The Chinese actor is alive and doing just fine for he recently inaugurated the 2013 China Film Festival held in New Delhi, India.
The 59-year-old actor arrived in New Delhi for the induction of the first China Film Festival at the Siri Ford auditorium. Other attendees of the festival are Indian Manish Tiwari and Cai Fuchao, the Chinese Information and Broadcasting Minister.
Jackie Chan revealed during the interview that he is looking forward to work on Indian films, just waiting for the Bollywood directors to offer roles. The Asian action superstar discussed as well the popularization of both the Chinese and Indian cinema industry.
"Writers from China and India should write about each other and should make films so that people in both the countries get an opportunity to know each other in a more comprehensive and better way," the actor stated. Jackie Chan further revealed about his future movie projects including a film focusing on peace when the controversial topic of Chinese incursion into Indian territory was brought up.
With regards to the Jackie Chan death hoaxes, it appears that web sites will still continue on claiming that the actor already passed away. Another appalling death claim comes from the hoax generator site, Global Associated News, reporting that Jackie Chan died while filming in Kitzbühel, Austria.
The full death hoax report reads: "Actor Jackie Chan died while filming a movie in Kitzbühel, Austria on June 18, 2013. Preliminary reports from Austrian Police officials indicate that the actor fell more than 50 feet to his death in a remote area of the Hahnenkamm mountains while on-set during the filming of a movie. Specific details are not yet available. The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. (UTC/GMT +12)."
Other fake death claims appeared on social networking site Facebook declaring that the Chinese actor died while filming a stunt scene where he fell-off a 12-story building. The death hoax on Jackie Chan reportedly started in 2010 and the actor has been repeatedly and tirelessly refuting the numerous fake death reports ever since.
