Jackie Chan Death Hoax 2013: Chinese Actor Continues to Untiringly Refute Fake Death Reports [PHOTOS]
Chinese superstar Jackie Chan is obviously sick with all of the death reports about him circulating on the internet but he is not tired of refuting the fake claims. The 59-year-old actor continues to clear the rumors in order to give his family, friends and fans a peace of mind over the cruel prank.
Jackie Chan revealed that he was flooded with messages and phone calls from worried friends after his return on Thursday, June 20, from the 2013 Chinese Film Festival inauguration in New Delhi, India. "These few years, there has repeatedly been false news which has caused my fans and friends who care about me, to worry if I am dead!" Chan expressed.
After finding out once again about the death hoax, the "Rush Hour" star wrote a message on his Facebook page on Friday with a photo attached holding the June 21 newspaper copy to prove that he is still alive and doing well.
"Tell everyone! Ha ha! To make people believe it, please look at the photo! Thank you for everyone's concern and love!" Chan stated with the hopes that the fake death reports will now stop.
Currently, Jackie Chan has a lot of movie projects under his belt which keeps his schedule tight. A movie poster for his upcoming film "Police Story 2013" has already surfaced on social media sites.
The film is reportedly not connected to the previous comedic and action-packed Police Story installments with Sheng Ding of "Little Big Soldier" and "Underdog Knight 1 & 2" directing the latest movie version. Jackie Chan will be portraying the China Interpol officer with a different hair style compared to the traditional long hair.
Chinese actress Lui Ye has been cast to portray Jackie Chan's daughter and the film's story engages on a kidnapping case where Jackie's character must utilize his knowledge and skills to save lives before time runs out. "Police Story 2013" will be released in China theaters on December 24.
