Chinese actor Jackie Chan has been refuting the numerous death hoax reports about him since 2010. The Jackie Chan death hoax reports resurfaced again in July 2013 on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook but this time, the Hong Kong superstar has not given any reaction about that.
It appears that Mr Chan, 59, is already tired of saying "I'm alive and doing well" over and over after becoming a favorite target on the rampant fake death reports posted online. His fans are now advised to be cautious on everything that they read about the Chinese actor since the objective of a hoax is to either harm a reputation or find out how popular the hoax post becomes.
On September 5 to 10, the martial arts action star is expected to attend the 5th edition of the Kung Fu Wushu African Cup in Antananarivo, Madagascar. Furthermore, preparations are being made for Jackie Chan's charity concert on September 30 in Hangzhou, China.
Mr Chan decided to organize the charity concert in celebration of his appearance in 100 films. The raised money from the event will also be able to help the victims of the earthquake in China.
Recent reports confirmed that the special guest star at the China Charity Concert that Jackie Chan organized is the K-pop Big Bang group leader, G-Dragon. A rep for YG Entertainment made the confirmation about G-Dragon's performance at the important event.
"G-Dragon has agreed to perform at the charity show," the representative declared. The 24-year-old South Korean rapper attests on his performance at Jackie Chan's charity concert and revealing as well how many songs he will perform on stage. G-Dragon stated: "I have confirmed my appearance at this concert. I will be singing a total of 3 songs on stage and meet with Jackie Chan afterwards."
At present time, Jackie Chan has upcoming movie projects under his belt such as "The Expendables 3" "Police Story 2013" and the rumoured "Rush Hour 4." A busy filming schedule and numerous guest appearances may help Jackie Chan get his mind off the cruel fake death reports about his untimely demise.
