Jada Pinkett-Smith: 43-Year-Old Actress Shows Off Sexy Figure In Shape Magazine, Reveals How She Keeps Her Body Fit
The January/February 2015 issue of Shape magazine features actress Jada Pinkett-Smith and her fit figure in a sexy orange swimsuit. The 43-year-old "Gotham" star showed off the result of her dedication to stay fit while opening up in an interview how she achieved her stunning physique.
According to a Mail Online report, Jada Pinkett-Smith admitted that she trained really hard for years before changing her workout regime because she started to have a "too muscular" look. "My trainer and I are into reps instead of heavy weights because the goal is now about sculpting," the actress shared. Click HERE to see photos.
Jada Pinkett-Smith revealed that her routine includes walking up 32 flights in her apartment building, going down in an elevator and then repeats the workout routine with weights. "I love walking stairs because it's great cardio and resistance," the actress explained.
However, the mother of teenagers Jaden and Willow admitted that her energy levels are no longer the same. "I'm not staying at the gym for two hours anymore. I hit it and quit it... I'm not going to stress my body that way anymore. I can't," Jada Pinkett-Smith shared in an E!Online report.
When asked what makes her motivated in keeping a fit physique, Jada Pinkett-Smith revealed that her husband, Will Smith, plays a major role. The actress admitted that she loves the way the 46-year-old actor looks at her and declares that she looks "so freaking good."
"When my husband of almost 20 years can't take his eyes off me? That's amazing," Jada Pinkett-Smith shared. The actress further added that going to the gym also keeps her sane because it serves as a place for her to exert energy, frustration, sadness and happiness.
Aside from going to the gym to keep her head straight, Jada Pinkett-Smith shared that she reads several spiritual and self-expansion books. As for her toughness and determination, Jada Pinkett-Smith revealed that it has something to do with her upbringing.
According to an UsWeekly report, Jada Pinkett-Smith shared that her tough and determined demeanor developed while growing up on the streets of Baltimore where she had to exude the "You do not want to mess with me" energy. "But I'm okay. I feel safe now... I can focus on love, compassion, openness, and yes, vulnerability," the actress stated.
