Hollywood actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway are in Australia to promote their new movie Love & Other Drugs. The movie is set to premiere today in Australia, and the two lead stars are expected to walk the red carpet.

The film has been receiving positive reviews for the performances of Gyllenhaal and Hathaway, with some critics saying that Hathaway might garner another Oscar nomination for her turn in Love & Other Drugs. A nomination might just be on the way, and it does help that she will be hosting the next Oscar ceremony.

David Denby of the New Yorker writes: "Hathaway's features are so big and bright that they seem to take over her face; she can look like a clown in some shots, and ravishing in others. But she's not just vivid and generously expressive; she has become, in her last few roles, a high-flying actress who reveals everything that's inside her characters. Through sheer conviction, she makes the defiant-dying-girl tearjerking clichés work."

Love and Other Drugs is based on the Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman by Jamie Reidy and is directed by Edward Zwick. It revolves around Maggie, a free spirited woman played by Anne Hathaway, who then meets her match in Jamie, played by Gyllenhaal who works in pharmaceutical sales.

Love and Other Drugs was released late in November, and for this weekend it has grossed $6 million in the United States box office, ranking fourth behind Burlesque, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, and Tangled.
