The DNA taken from the undies of Jameis Winston's accuser reportedly matched that of the Florida State Seminoles quarterback.

According to a report published by ESPN on Wednesday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement carried out a DNA analysis on Tuesday, and the results confirmed that Winston is match for the sample taken from the undies of his accuser.

The DNA obtained from Winston's accuser was taken on the very same day that the alleged sexual assault occurred. The Florida quarterback was recently swabbed for sample.

ESPN had a glimpse of the DNA analysis results. The chance of the DNA in a woman's undies being a match for a man other than the Florida State quarterback is one in 2.2 trillion, according to Florida State crime lab.

Winson's representative, Tim Jansen, was not taken aback at all with the results of the DNA analysis. "We are not surprised with the results of the DNA," said Jansen. Winston has willingly agreed to submit his DNA, at his own free will.

Winston's DNA sample matching the accuser's does not really mean that a sexual assault did take place.

Jansen has said that a sex act was indeed committed. However, he also stated that it was a consensual sex between the accuser and Winston.

Meanwhile, Jansen was furious by the fact that the DNA results were released to the public. Winston is one of the top contenders for the Heisman Trophy Award. He feels that the leaked DNA results are a plot to ruin his client's reputation.

"We are surprised why the results leaked out," said Jansen. "Why is it being leaked," he added. "That is the question that people should ask, I mean for what purpose," Jansen concluded.

Jansen claims that the leaked DNA results came from the police authorities. Winston, on the other hand, kept mum about the issue and has not commented yet.
