"James Bond 24" seems to have found a final script and the director of the film Sam Mendes is reported to have zeroed down on his Bond Girl. It is being rumoured that Léa Seydoux would be playing the Bond Girl. Lea is known for her role "Blue is Warmest Color" and in all probability she could be starring in the James Bond film opposite Daniel Craig.

There is no confirmation to the report that Lea could be the next bond girl. It has been rumoured that Ida Engvoll and Disa Östrand have also been screen tested for the role. Meanwhile, as far as the plotline and story of the next James Bond flick goes, in all probability it would be a follow up of "Skyfall."

"What we tried to do, and what audiences seemed to embrace in Skyfall was for the first time, characters were allowed to age, and they were allowed to acknowledge the passing of the years. And they could acknowledge the history in a kind of sly, mischievous way," said Mendes in an interview to Collider.

The screen play of the film is being written by John Logan and it is scheduled to release in the US on Nov. 6 and in UK on Oct. 23.

"I am very pleased that by giving me the time I need to honor all my theater commitments, the producers have made it possible for me to direct Bond 24. I very much look forward to taking up the reins again, and to working with Daniel Craig, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli for a second time," said Mendes in a statement about his will to return to the movie for the second time to Hollywood Reporter.

The report of Mendes returning for the film has come as a surprise as earlier he had said that he has other commitments and won't be helming the directors cap for the next James Bond Venture. Mendes is understood to be more focused on plays and theatres as per the reports from the Web site.
