Fans of British singer Adele may soon hear her sonorous voice on James Bond's next espionage adventure, according to hints she dropped on a television show.

"I'm going back in the studio in November, fingers crossed," Adele said on "The Jonathan Ross Show."

When Ross pressed her for more details on this project, Adele said the project involves "a theme" but she would not eleborate because it is "really giving something away."

Ross then hummed the famous Bond theme, which made Adele blush and cover her mouth with her hand before telling the audience that her upcoming project is "a concept." A sequel to "Casino Royale" is in the works which will have Daniel Craig reprise the role, fresh from his most recent film "Cowboys and Aliens."

This week saw Adele's album "21" shortlisted on the Mercury Prize Award along with 11 other nominees. PJ Harvey's "Let England Shake" won the prize awarded to the best album from United Kingdom and Ireland.

While August ended with Adele courting her international audience with a performance of "Someone Like You" at the VMA 2011 Awards, September began with Adele on the cover of the British edition of Vogue. An exciting year ahead for the British singer indeed!
