Another famous Spears is now making waves in music as Jamie Lynn Spears took the stage in Nashville for her debut performance on Monday night. The 20 year old sang her original songs in front of cheering and proud family and friends.

Her performance is the sign that many of her fans have been waiting for. She is bound to return to the spotlight with a recording album and another determined soul to brave the entertainment business.

"I am so emotional tonight," exclaims mother Lynne to interviewers from People Magazine.

The stage mum looked over to her daughter with teary eyes as Jamie Lynn performed her heart out to the audience in the country music capital Nashville, Tennessee.

"We are so proud of her," said father Jamie, who tried to savor each moment that Jamie Lynn was singing her way to fame.

The whole family watched the budding star with grandfather June Spears, parents Lynne and Jamie, along with the country music icon, Pam Tillis. Her famous sister, Britney Spears, was not present at the show due to an overseas concert tour.

However, big sister, Britney, did not fall short in her support for her little sister. She gave out an encouraging message through her Twitter saying, "Heard you were amazing sis. Love you!"

Jamie Lynn Spears has been living in Nashville for two years now with her three year old daughter, Maddie.

She performed at the historic The Rutledge on 4th Avenue South, one of the hottest live music performance locations in Nashville.

"Just want to thank everyone who came out tonight!" Jamie Lynn wrote on her Twitter.

Jamie Lynn is best known for her performance as Zoey Brooks in Zoey 101, a television show from Nickolodeon. She started making a name in show business even when she was still living under the shadows of her famous sister, Britney Spears.

Back in December 2007, the 16 year old Jamie Lynn stepped out of the limelight in order to concentrate more on her pregnancy and caring for her baby with boyfriend Casey Aldridge. She then got engaged with Casey in March 2008.
