Last week’s episode of “Jane The Virgin” was a complete shocker. It has been revealed that Rose is actually the notorious criminal “Sin Rostro.” Emilio Solano, who was being suspected to be “Sin Rostro,” ended up dead in the hands of his wife who is the real villain. Rafael still suspects his father while Jane had to deal with his father’s demise in his telenovela role. This week, the story continues with the aftermath of everything that took place in Episode 12. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

In the promo clip for Episode 13 shared by Spoiler TV, Jane and Rafael discover that there is a complication in her pregnancy that could result in a miscarriage. Jane is faced with a decision on what action to take. Both she and Rafael discover just how important the baby has become to them even if they didn’t plan it. The crisis also tests the bond between the two of them.

While dealing with his baby and Jane, Rafael also learns about his father’s demise. He is still conflicted because of his suspicions about him being the criminal “Sin Rostro.” He and his sister Luis both suspected their father without having any clue that the real villain is their stepmother Rose.

The show’s executive producer Jennie Urman spoke to TV Line and revealed some juicy details. She said that the next few episodes will reveal exactly how Rose became “Sin Rostro” and how she got the Solano family involved in her nefarious activities. The police, including Jane’s ex-fiance Michael, will be thrown off by the death of Emilio. However, they will slowly be able to piece things together. Despite this, Rose has an alibi when Zaz was impaled early in the season, so the search for the killer will remain open.

As for Rogelio, he was very optimistic about his career options at the end of the previous episode. Unfortunately for him, Urman reveals that he won’t be getting as many offers as he initially expected. He will then receive an offer which is not up to his standards, but he will need to make a decision to save his career.

Meanwhile, Petra’s story also took quite a turn in last week’s episode. She found out that her mom could actually walk and has been manipulating her for years. Urman reveals that Petra is devastated to learn about the deception and decides to exclude Magda from her life for now. Likewise, Petra still isn’t willing to get back together with Milos despite learning that her mother tried to keep them apart. After all, she says she could not accept that he threw acid at somebody even if it was not at her. The previous episode dropped a few bombs, but Episode 13 will prove to be shocking as well, according to the show’s EP. “Jane the Virgin” airs Monday nights on CW.
