Janine Tugonon, Dayana Mendoza & Marigona Dragusha: Sherri Hill’s Image Models
In time for the 62nd edition of Miss Universe Pageant in Moscow, Russia; renowned American designer Sherri Hill is having three Miss Universe beauties as her new image models. Miss Universe 2008 Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2009 runner-up Marigona Dragusha and Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Tugonon are the three image models to represent Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Known for her elegant evening gowns, Sherri Hill's designs represents the fashionable lifestyle of today's women. Each of her gowns is designed to perfection to enhance the female form with a fashion-forward styling and wearability. She began her fashion career when she worked on various manufacturers in the evening gown business, and gained a lot of attention when a number of Miss America, Miss U.S.A. and Miss Universe contestants won titles wearing her creations.
Her first fashion show was in 2011 New York Fashion Week and her gown was worn by Kendall Jenner, Miss China 2011 Luo Zilin, Miss U.S.A. 2011 Alyssa Campanella and Carmen Dell'Orefice. For this year, Hill debuted her Spring 2013 collection at the New York Fashion week; Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza wore her gowns on the runway.
Sherri Hill will be dressing Janine Tugonon for Miss Universe 2013 pageant as a web correspondent and her first gig to cover the pageant's preliminaries that is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5. The 24-year-old beauty queen is the pageant's correspondent for the official YouTube Channel and will cover the sponsored activities, rehearsals and interviews.
Off the runway, Sherri Hill has dressed many Hollywood celebrities for red carpet moments including Carrie Underwood, Carmen Electra, Bella Thorne, Heather Morris of Glee, Surfer Anastacia Ashley, Claudia Lee, Selena Gomez and Miranda Lambert. One of Hill's iconic dresses, style 1403, was worn by Selena Gomez while she was performing in a concert and after the gown was seen in the runway, the demand for Sherri Hill's designs increased.
