The Janoskians' fame from YouTube has reached Hollywood standards as the group have reportedly been offered a movie deal with Lionsgate.

The Janoskians started their fame in 2011 when they started posting their prank videos on YouTube. They are famous for these prank videos and have since gained a following especially from teenaged girl fans. From YouTube sensations, The Janoskians then became TV personalities, music recording artists, and soon they'll be able to add Hollywood movie stars to their credentials.

The Janoskians hails from Melbourne Australia and composed of five boys namely James Yammouni, Daniel Sahyounie and brothers Jai, Beau and Luke Brooks. Metro reports that their Hollywood movie is produced by Lionsgate and will be written by comedian Dan Ahoot. The movie will be based on their "social disturbance" comedy which will include stunts and public pranks. Dan Ahoot will also add in some partially scripted comedy showing the boys adjusting to their new Hollywood life in Los Angeles where they plan to throw a huge epic party. Danny Lee (Road to Brooklyn) will direct the film. According to Deadline, the movie has a modest budget but if it catches on then it will be another "Jackass" movie.

Janoskians member Beau Brooks is quoted by Metro on his statement regarding the Hollywood movie deal.

"In our wildest dreams, we never thought we would end up working with a company like Lionsgate. They take risks, break rules and make epic movies. We can't wait to take our pranks and jokes to the next level. We know we are lucky, and we will make the most of it, we promise you!"

The Janoskians' YouTube fame led them to a music deal with Sony Music Australia in 2012, with their first single reaching the Top 20. However, their new single for 2014 "Real Girls Eat Cake" has failed in the Australian charts due to its potty-mouthed content, reports Newsau.
