Jared Leto Heartbroken? 'Future Ex-Wife' Lupita Nyong'o Secretly Dating Rapper K'naan Since September

Move over Jared Leto, Lupita Nyong'o is not really single and has a boyfriend, it has been revealed. The 31-year-old Oscar winning actress is reportedly dating Somali-Canadian rapper K'naan since September, Daily Mail is saying citing US Weekly as a source. Lupita and K'naan have been spotted together on March 3 in a romantic gesture in Los Angeles and the Daily Mail also has the picture of two which can be viewed here.

Jared Leto must be disheartened to hear about Lupita's love interest as the "Dallas Buyers Club" actor called the "12 Years a Slave" actress his "future ex-wife" on stage at the Film Independent Spirit Awards on March 1. The long haired actor was also seen getting up close and cosy with Lupita at the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week on March 5. The two seem to be enjoying each other's company and various media agencies made stories that the two were dating.

However it seems that Lupita was enjoying the attention Jared Leto was giving her but did not take the rumours seriously and laughed it off. "When I read these rumours, they're so detailed that even I start to question whether they're true or not," Nyong'o told Ellen DeGeneres during an interview.

"I thought Miley Cyrus broke us up," she joked further on Ellen's show about her relation with Jared Leto. All this while Lupita has K'naan on her mind as she was dating him and not Leto as rumoured.

"She loves his humanitarianism," a source close to the couple said, according to the Web site "They're both passionate about African issues."

Lupita and K'naan reportedly live in New York but she is yet to meet the 36-year-old rapper's two children with ex-wife Deqa Warsame, reports the Web site. K'naan - whose real name Keinan Abdi Warsame was spotted hugging Lupita the day after The Oscars in Los Angeles and the rapper also held the actress' new Best Supporting Actress Oscar statue.
