Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa or better known as Khal Drogo in HBO's series is eyed for a role in the upcoming Batman-Superman movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Momoa is currently in negotiations to join the high-powered cast of Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment untitled movie.

Momoa's first big film "Conan The Barbarian" remake fails to break him out as a blockbuster star but it seems that the actor is getting a big second chance. If negotiations will go as planned, the 34-year-old actor will be joining Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Israeli supermodel Gal Godot as the newly minted Wonder Woman.

"Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder is still finalizing the cast for the movie and as of now Momoa's role in the film is still unknown. Although there are some speculations that the Hawaiian bred actor would be playing the movie's villain, Doomsday, a Kryptonian intergalactic killing machine.

It became a media event in 1992 when Doomsday famously "killed" Superman in the comics and there is a big possibility that he will be in the movie as hinted in the extras of "Man of Steel" Blu-ray. But another theory are circulating that Warners is eyeing Momoa to play the Martian Manhunter, a powerful alien trapped on Earth. With his muscular physique and strong demeanor, he is a perfect fit for the role.

But fans have to take note that this isn't the first time that Momoa has been rumored to be in the cast of comic book movie. Earlier this year rumors are going around that he was in the running to play Drax The Destroyer in James Gunn's upcoming movie "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The rumored role went to Dave Bautista who will b starring in the sci-fi action film next summer. Perhaps this is the reason why Momoa is switching from Team Marvel to Team DC, but in this early stage in the game the future is still unclear on how is he going to fit into the story.

According to Waner Bros. the Superman-Batman movie will be in theaters on July 17, 2015 and the movie production is scheduled to start early next year.
